The Alumni Generations Student Pinning Ceremony invites alumni to present their students with a pin as a symbolic way of passing down their New Paltz pride. One of those awarded during the Oct. 1 occasion was Max Shock '26 (Chemistry), son of Executive Director of Academic Planning & Learning Innovation and Assistant Dean of Graduate, Professional & Interdisciplinary Studies Vika Shock’95 (French) ’01g (Second Language Education).
