The Diploma
The diploma documents the award of the degree (e.g. Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts). The degree conferral date is the last day classes and the diploma is mailed 6-8 weeks after the final grades are submitted. The diploma will be mailed to the requested address.
Diploma name
Graduating students complete an application to apply for the degree which initiates the degree review process. On the degree application, students confirm or update the diploma name. The student can add a chosen first name to the diploma. The last name will be the student's legal name. The transcript will show the legal first and last name. Students opting to use a chosen name on the diploma should be aware that some professional and licensing boards require use of legal name in the licensing process, so use of a chosen name may delay or complicate a certification or licensure process. In addition, some countries may require a diploma for various legal, immigration, or employment purposes

Duplicate Diploma
Students will receive the original diploma without the need for a special order as long as there is no account hold. Do not place an order for a duplicate diploma to attempt to speed up the processing of the original diploma, which will be mailed to you 6-8 weeks after degree conferral.
In order to protect the privacy of the student's educational record, Records & Registration staff can only disclose non-directory information to an individual who has been authenticated as the student or to a third party who has been properly authorized to receive that information.

All duplicate diploma requests are processed through our third-party partner, Parchment. The cost for a duplicate diploma is $25. This cost includes both a digital copy and a printed copy

Your diploma will be shipped 10-14 business days after the order is processed.
Diplomas are sent by USPS. If expedited shipping services are needed, that option is available when placing your order.
