Accelerated degree programs allow qualified students to begin taking coursework for Master's degree or graduate certificate as an undergraduate student thereby saving time and money.

Program Description
Undergraduate students will declare the AP major using the regular Declaration/Change of Major workflow. Students pursuing an AP program will maintain their primary major advisor and be assigned an AP advisor for graduate Computer Science courses. Program Description
The Spanish AP major includes a total of 9-12 graduate credits. To provide flexibility, students may elect to complete 3-6 credits of graduate coursework in Spanish as part of their Major Electives. Then they would work with their AP advisor to select 6 credits of graduate coursework in Education to fulfill the GR Education Elective portion of their major plan.

The Accelerated Pathway Program is a pathway to earning two powerful credentials, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and a Master of Arts (MA) degree, in just five years. The BA/MA program in English is designed to provide a clear path for New Paltz students majoring in English: Creative Writing AP to complete the MA degree in one year. Students in this program begin taking graduate courses during their senior year earning ten credits of graduate course work by the time they complete their BA degree. They are then able to complete the MA degree requirements by enrolling in ten credits during the subsequent fall and spring terms.
