The Disability Resource Center at SUNY New Paltz is committed to leveling the playing field for students with disabilities through services and accommodations. Students new to the DRC will need to make an intake meeting appointment with a DRC staff member to discuss the need for accommodations and determine academic accommodations. The DRC can also assist faculty who have questions about student accommodations and how to effectively provide these accommodations for classwork and assignments.
Accommodate
Accommodate is a software system used by the Disability Resource Center to manage student accommodation requests and communicate these requests to faculty.
Faculty can access the Accommodate system through my.newpaltz.edu and they should check their class listings throughout the add/drop period in case new students with accommodation needs are added.
