The Office of Undergraduate Admission is looking for enthusiastic students who want to share their love for SUNY New Paltz with prospective students and their families. As part of T.A.L.O.N.S., you will share your experiences at New Paltz with high school and community college students and their families who are trying to figure out if New Paltz is the school for them.
What you will get: A T.A.L.O.N.S. T-shirt, additional T.A.L.O.N.S. swag, and a free meal at all of our events. You will also acquire excellent leadership skills. Prospective students and their families will look to you as an example of the phenomenal students who attend this great institution. You will can also earn up to six volunteer hours for each event you participate in.
Your Responsibilities: T.A.L.O.N.S. members are an essential link between the Office of Undergraduate Admission and our prospective students and their families at our major campus recruitment events. Responsibilities include giving campus tours, welcoming our visitors, handing out information, answering questions, and assisting the Undergraduate Admission staff with the general operations of our large scale events.

As a new member you must attend ONE training session and attend a tour shadowing session, which will be announced at a later date. As a returning T.A.L.O.N.S member you will only need to attend a tour shadowing session.
