Liberal Arts & Sciences students have many opportunities to conduct advanced research in capstone courses, as well as fieldwork, internships, service learning and study abroad programs to test theory and knowledge in real-world situations.

Study topics range from environmental sustainability and gender studies to new technologies, the ancient world, globalization, and communication. The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences draws on a wide variety of faculty expertise to better understand the rapidly changing world around us.
