Ben Basile is a bassist, educator, and composer from New York’s Hudson Valley Area. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Jazz Studies from The State University of New York at New Paltz and a Music Performance Certificate from The State University of New York at Dutchess Community College. Ben has composed, recorded, performed, and toured across six continents with various groups. Most notably, Ben has been a member of Big D and The Kids Table since 2013, and he is a founding member of The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project that has hosted a weekly jazz jam session in Poughkeepsie, NY, since 2012.
