Dr. Jordan D. Simons is currently the Assistant Principal at PS 203Q, a high-performing elementary school in Bayside, Queens, where he supports over 100 staff members and 800 students. Before assuming the role of Assistant Principal, Dr. Simons held the position of Director of Academic Intervention Services within the New York City Department of Education's Division of Multilingual Learners. He supported the city's 150,000 Multilingual and English Language Learners in this capacity, specifically focusing on rendering targeted support within a Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Dr. Simons has also worked in various roles including Special Education and English as a New Language teacher, RTI Coordinator, and IEP teacher. Dr. Simons lives with his wife, Emilie, and son, Daniel, and enjoys every minute with them. They are his pride and joy.
