Dr. Rodriguez completed her emergency medicine training at Jacobi/Montefiore Medical Center and earned her medical degree from the State University of New York at Upstate. She also holds a master’s in public health from the State University of New York at Downstate. She studied cell biology with a minor in black studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her interests include medical education, health disparities, and critical care. Dr. Rodriguez is committed to her work in advocacy within medical education and community efforts. She is currently the Director of Community Engagement and is dedicated to assisting and improving the community outreach efforts of the Emergency Medicine Department at SIUH.
