Jeremy Holmes’ sculpture work uses wood in an unconventional way to expand perceptions of the form and function of this practical material. He uses traditional woodworking techniques to make thin boards, then soaks the wood in water which allows him to bend the solid hardwood into continuous, abstract shapes. Jeremy lives and has his studio in Ithaca, NY.
