Raised in Ellenville, Katie is the founder and Owner of Peace in Piermont (PiP), a mindfulness studio that teaches humans of all ages how to de-stress and live a more present life. She teaches group, family, and private classes, professional development workshops, teacher training, and school assemblies. In 2020, Katie launched Give Your Brain a Bath Books to begin spreading mindfulness tools to a broader audience and has published three books, all illustrated by fellow SUNY New Paltz alumna Sara Palazzolo Martin. Katie aspires to make self-care more accessible by expanding her books into a television series. Find her @somethingkatie!
