Lynn Batchelder is a contemporary jeweler and educator whose work centers on drawing and mark-making as she seamlessly creates jewelry and works on paper. She received an MFA in Metal from the State University of New York at New Paltz and a BFA from Western Michigan University. Batchelder is represented by Gallery Loupe (NJ) and has exhibited her work nationally and internationally—most recently selected for the highly prestigious Schmuck 2024 exhibition in Munich, Germany. She is the recipient of numerous grants and residencies, notably the Art Jewelry Forum Artist Award, a Peter S. Reed Foundation Grant, an Artist-in-Residence at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and a residency at the Estonian Academy of Art. She is an Associate Professor in the Metal Program at SUNY New Paltz.
