Steven Posada is a first-generation college graduate born to immigrant parents. He takes pride in being a devoted father to his two children, Silvia and Samir, and a loving husband to Sandy Posada. Fueled by his transformative experience in the Educational Opportunity Program at SUNY New Paltz, Steven's journey has ignited a profound passion for education, equity, and access. With over a decade of experience in higher education, Steven currently holds the position of Coordinator of the EOP program at Dutchess Community College. Here, his primary commitment lies in empowering students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their academic and personal aspirations. Before this role, Steven dedicated over six years to serving as a Diversity Admissions Counselor, facilitating the smooth transition of students from high school to college.
Through his unwavering leadership and dedication, Steven continues to make a positive impact on the lives of others by creating pathways to success and fostering a sense of belonging within the campus community.
