Gabriela Gomez is a senior pursuing double majors in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies and Journalism. Gomez is now two years in as a resident advisor of Collango halls and has been a student assistant at the Office of Development and Alumni Relations since her freshman year in 2021. Gomez has been active in campus organizations since then and is a former member of both the Fahari-Libertad and the Caribbean Latin Coalition. As graduation approaches, Gomez hopes to pursue a career in the field of journalism, specifically using her Spanish-English bilingualism to make quality news access equitable.
