Renee Padmore-Baccus ’91 (Black Studies; Psychology) has served as a public health and social service professional for more than 25 years, focusing on developing public health literacy to include HIV, prenatal care, prevention of heart disease, obesity, early childhood intervention and strategic planning. Her mission and wish in life is to assist others in strategic plans for the development of healthier lifestyles. In living her passion, she became a certified Master Gardener/Master Composter, and she is currently the owner and operator of Healthy Hands of Harvest, an urban farm whose mission is to have fun with food while providing exposure to new food sources. Padmore-Baccus is married to fellow New Paltz alumnus Dion Baccus ’92.
