We met in Bevier Hall January of 1978. We were friends. We hung out together with the rest of the crew, Charlie, Tricia, Joe, Dennis, "Fluff", "Kid", Jeff, Robbie, to name a few. As a matter of fact we were platonic roommates for a while. He had a girl back home. He used to look me in the eye and say "It's too bad" and I didn't know what he was talking about.
I remember the first time - the first kiss - March 1978. He just took me in his arms & kissed me. I went to the girls in suite 101 and said, "This is the man I will marry!"

We had FUN! Ashoken, The Tripping Fields, The Keg Parties, Marketing Class with Bill Whitaker, P & G's Friday Happy Hour. Always laughing - sometimes crying. He didn't break up with his girlfriend right away.
I had to leave in June 1979 - too much fun. He stayed to finish & graduated in June 1980. One of the first to graduate with a Business Administration Degree.
I came up to visit every weekend. Took the 6:30 am bus after my waitress shift.
We were married on June 28, 1980. We had a beautiful outdoor reception in my backyard, filled with 300 people of family & friends.
We had two children, Bryan & Michael. Things got tough. We separated in 1983. We divorced in 1989. We got remarried in 1992. It's a true love story.
We still hang out with some of the old gang. Charlie Puma, Michael "Fluff" O'Connell, Joe Brusca, Dennis Higgins.
We go to New Paltz to visit a lot. We have come full circle - our son Bryan goes there now.
