Site Renovation- Bus Turn-around/Transit Hub
The new landscape site renovation project will reinforce the connection of the campus to the magnificent landscape, clarify the campus' boundaries and relationship to both its urban and rural edges, restore and reconnect the existing open spaces on campus, develop the campus' landscape to its full potential and enhance the sustainable attributes of the campus landscape. The Landscape Master Plan will be implemented in several phases over the course of the next 15 years. The initial phase involves the Main Academic Concourse which was completed summer 2011. The Hasbrouck Quad site renovation will began in summer 2011 with construction over the next two summers. The Mohonk Walk West (from the Main Academic Concourse to van den Berg Hall) and Mohonk East will be constructed over two summers also, ending in summer 2013.
Sasaki Associates are continuing on the remainder of the design for the Mohonk Walk-West. Niram has completed the work on the Concourse portion of the project. Contractors have completed work on the Hasbrouck Quad and the Mohonk Walk East has been completed. Lot 32 Parking construction was also completed in the spring 2013.
