A study to review space allocation and needs for the Sojourner Truth Library (STL) as expected for the next twenty years. The study will be conducted with library consultants in addition to select campus community members to include faculty, students, administrators and library staff.
The feasibility study has been prepared and presented. It was determined that an expansion of the present facility is not needed, however, a reallocation of certain spaces as well as the creation of several new spaces including an Immersion Information Zone is recommended. Architectural modifications suggested removing the concrete massing ("bunkers")along the east and west exteriors.
