Kamran Khavarani is a painter and architect currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Khavarani has been credited by the late UCLA art history Professor Albert Boime – perhaps the foremost social art historian of our time – as the creator of a new artistic movement called Abstract Romanticism. His award-winning work is admired by many and studied for its unique calming and therapeutic effect on the brain. (www.khavarani.com)
'Khavarani is a one-person movement…[He] resurrects the romantic possibility that art can change the world
by reaching out unstintingly to the heart and imagination of the individual spectator.' - Albert Boime
'Art is not a mirror held up to reality, but a hammer with which to shape it.' - Bertoldt
