The SUNY New Paltz EOP Summer Enrichment Program runs from July 7 to July 25, 2025. This mandatory residential program is for EOP-admitted first-year students.
EOP covers the cost of a three-credit course, housing, and meals for all participants.

No, first-year students are not allowed to have cars during the EOP Summer Enrichment Institute or their first year at SUNY New Paltz.
To ensure the safety of students and staff, visitors are not permitted in the residence hall during the program. Parents or guardians who need to drop off items must contact the EOP Office at 845-257-3226. Mailing items is encouraged.

Yes, all EOP first-year students attending the residential EOP Summer Enrichment Institute will work with their assigned EOP Advisor to create and finalize their Fall class schedule.
Many first-year EOP students who have completed the required financial documentation will receive their financial aid package before arriving at the EOP Summer Enrichment Institute.
For those who have not, there will be time during the program to receive guidance on completing the necessary steps to secure their Financial Aid Award Letter. This letter outlines the specific aid available and the steps to accept it.

Students who are 18 years old and above are welcome to open a checking bank account with Heritage Federal Credit Union. To open a bank account students will need to present the following:
- Social Security Number
- Valid government ID
A $10.00 minimum balance is required for a Flex checking account.
