Freshmen should consider their GE choices wisely as said courses will both inform and potentially be part of the Minor they ultimately choose as required by the BSVA program.
Advance Placement courses result from an articulation agreement with The College Board.
AP studio art courses are articulated as ARS193 (lower division studio elective, not to be uses as a substitute for Foundation or Basic studio courses).
AP Art History courses are articulated as ARH201 or ARH202.
Art Seminar (ARS112) is a required course for Freshman accepted as a BSVA. No substitutions.
Designed World (ARS113) is a required course for Freshman Accepted as a BFA in Graphic Design.
Creative Art Projects: BA/BS (ARS491-01) Taken you final semester, fulfills the writing intensive requirement.
