The SUNY New Paltz Department of Music is proud to offer our “Music Major for a Day” Open House event every fall. This free event is geared toward high school juniors and seniors, as well as transfer students, who are considering studying music at SUNY New Paltz. Come experience our program first-hand!
As a “Music Major for a Day,” you will:
- Take part in music classes alongside SUNY New Paltz music students
- Meet the music faculty
- Learn about auditions, degree paths, admissions, and financial aid
- Make music with current SUNY New Paltz music students
The event is free to all high school juniors and seniors, and transfer students.
