Dual Diploma programs are a unique educational opportunity. Students are fully matriculated at two universities and earn two diplomas at the end of their four years of study. Typically, students apply to a university in their home country and then come to SUNY New Paltz for a portion of their education. Students must meet all of the requirements of both institutions ensuring that our alumni are bilingual, culturally competent and adaptable! Most students complete their degrees in the United States which then allows them to work in their field in the U.S. after graduation for one year.
We are partnered with numerous prestigious universities around the world. The programs started in 2004 at SUNY New Paltz and our first six graduates from Istanbul Technical University finished the program in 2006. Currently we have dual diploma programs with the following institutions:
Students can earn degrees in General Business (ITU, METU-NCC, Puc-Rio, and UEES), Finance (Yeditepe), Early Childhood Studies (CQUE), and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)/Liberal Studies (METU). Graduates of these programs have been incredibly successful; alumni are working at prestigious companies around the world including KPMG, Ernst and Young, and Turkish Airlines, attending well-known graduate programs in the United States and Europe (such as Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard and the London School of Economics) and earning fellowships and awards including Fulbright Scholarships,
