SUNY New Paltz’s Clinically Rich 15-credit Intensive Teacher Institute in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is designed for NYS professionally certified teachers who have an interest in working with English Language Learners (ELL's).
TO APPLY
PREPARE the following items in preparation for online submission
- One set of official transcripts
- You may upload student copies of your transcripts; however, full admission requires official transcripts with degree conferral information. Please mail transcripts to:

- A copy of your TEACH account or NYS Professional Teaching Certificate
- Name and contact information of your employer and a letter from them verifying your eligibility and support to participate in the ITI program
- Application essay explaining your interest in working with English Language Learners (ELLs)
- $50.00 application fee
APPLY ONLINE
- Create an account and submit your online application for the Advanced Certificate in TESOL:CR-ITI program
Select Fall 2020 and major code 068 - Upload the admission requirements listed above.
- Check the status of your application. We will not email admission decisions until after all applications have been reviewed.
