Introducing a New Way to Explore
The Dorsky Museum

The Bloomberg Connects app helps The Dorsky to grow connections with our visitors and our wider community. It provides art lovers and curious visitors with an exciting opportunity to delve deeper into our collection and listen to SUNY New Paltz Students as well as Artists speaking about their artworks on display. One feature of the app that is particularly meaningful is the ability to translate interpretive text into any language, allowing the Museum to expand its impact with multilingual audiences.

Use the Bloomberg Connects digital guide to explore our expanded permanent collection display, A Living Collection, which tells the story of The Dorsky from a variety of perspectives and presents the collection as a living entity, continuously evolving and shaped by the viewer's interpretation.

Using the guide is free and easy:

1. Download the free Bloomberg Connects app on your phone.
2. Search for, or scroll to, The Dorsky Museum.
3. When you arrive at the Museum, look for the Bloomberg lookup icon beside select artworks in the collection. 
4. Enter an object’s lookup number to discover stories available only on the app.
