Robin Jacobowitz, Ph.D., is a specialist in education policy, research and evaluation who has worked closely with the Institute for Disaster Mental Health on multiple projects during her career as a SUNY New Paltz faculty member and researcher in The Benjamin Center.
She brings a deep familiarity with SUNY New Paltz, the grant writing and administration process, and a collaborative approach with units across the campus to the role of IDMH Executive Director. Examples include an evaluation of the Early Career Leadership Institute for the Hudson Valley Writing Project; work with the School of Science & Engineering on an initiative involving science technology and equipment; and facilitation of the interdisciplinary effort that led to the development of the School of Education’s MS in Behavior Analysis & Interdisciplinary Autism Studies degree.
