Expertise: Teaching graphic design at the undergraduate level since 2005. Presentations about my research and design pedagogy include: Type@Cooper West, San Francisco, the Type Directors Club, TypeCon, the AIGA Design Educators Conferences, Theorizing the Web, among others. I have written about typography and design for Typographica.org, The Recorder, Type Network, and Type magazine. Co-editor of Visible Language 49.3 (with Jessica Barness, Kent State University) special issue "Critical Making: Design and the Digital Humanities." Served on the organizing committee for the national design education conference, "Converge: Disciplinarities and Digital Scholarship", 2017 (USC).
