Xavier Morell, 20, is a finance major set to graduate at the end of the Spring 2025 semester. He has lived in Newburgh, an area about 30 minutes from SUNY New Paltz, and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 2021. While at SUNY New Paltz, he founded and was president of the New Paltz Mixed Martial Arts Club in his freshman year. In his sophomore year, he sat on the Council Board, Multicultural Resource Center Planning Committee, and was elected as the Council chair. He is currently the Student Association President. When he graduates, he plans to pursue work in the business sector, which would provide him with the experience, knowledge, and capital to become an entrepreneur and real estate investor.
