National studies show that collaborations with a faculty mentor can boost undergraduate students’ topic mastery and professional development in major ways. The RSCA supports those collaborations at SUNY New Paltz.
With the generous backing of donors and the Office of Academic Affairs, we provide small grants that fund collaborative projects during the academic year or summer, as well as scholarships that cover tuition while working on a project. We also provide students opportunities to present their projects on campus and at conferences within their own fields of study.
