Lewis Brownstein
Lewis Brownstein is a served as a distinguished professor and chair of the Department of Political Science & International Relations at SUNY New Paltz for 47 years. He has taught at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and completed six research trips to Israel and the territories. Even in retirement, Brownstein has sustained a ubiquitous presence in the Mid-Hudson region, lecturing on a wide range of topics involving international affairs, and teaching courses on terrorism, defense issues, the international relations of the Middle East, American foreign policy and related issues.
