General Information
What is the RISE Conference?
The RISE Conference is a one-day student success and leadership event designed to students who are committed to inclusive leadership. Through interactive workshops, networking opportunities, and inspiring speakers, students will gain the skills, knowledge, and connections needed to thrive in leadership, career, and civic engagement spaces. While the conference is geared toward students of color, all students are welcome to attend.
When and where will the conference take place?
The inaugural RISE Conference will be held on April 26th at SUNY New Paltz in the Lecture Center.
Who can attend the RISE Conference?
The conference is open to all SUNY New Paltz students.
How much does it cost to attend?
The RISE Conference is free for all SUNY New Paltz students! Registration is required to secure your spot.

How do I register for the conference?
Registration details will be shared soon! Stay tuned for updates via email, social media, and the Center for Student Engagement website.
What should I bring to the conference?
Just bring yourself and an open mind! You may also want to bring copies of your resume for networking opportunities with local business leaders and alumni.
Will food be provided?
Yes! Meals and refreshments will be provided throughout the conference.
What should I wear?
Dress in business casual or smart casual attire, something that makes you feel comfortable and confident while engaging with peers and professionals.
