Sociology Honors Society - AKD

Graduating with a sociology degree, by itself, is a significant accomplishment about which all of our students can be proud. Some students go beyond meeting our rigorous degree requirements and join Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD), the International Sociology Honors Society. Requirements are:

A general grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher
A sociology major GPA of 3.2 or higher
Be a declared Sociology Major
Completed at least 12 credits in sociology
Be a junior or senior
