Oluwaseyi Rasaki hails from Cambria Heights, NY. During her time at SUNY New Paltz, Oluwaseyi was a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry, a STEM Tutor, and a Research Assistant for the Biology Lab. As an undergraduate student, Oluwaseyi interned at the Brookhaven National Laboratory where she worked on maintaining and sampling transgenic plants while conducting basic molecular analysis and chemical determination.
Update from Oluwaseyi: I am finishing my thesis for my Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. My future plans are to work as a global healthcare professional focusing on women's health internationally. I want to thank the Kyncl foundation for my scholarship, it really helped while I was at New Paltz, and that financial support was and is an excellent motivation for me to achieve higher education.
