Vera Ruiz
Vera Ruiz came to SUNY New Paltz as a transfer student from Dutchess Community College and she hails from Highland, NY. She received the Robert Kyncl '95 & Luz Avila Kyncl '96 STEM Scholarship. During the summer of 2020, she participated in a research program at SUNY New Paltz based on Noise, Vibration and Harness in lab testing and measurement scenarios. During the summer of 2021 and through her last school year (2021-2022), she was involved in an internship program with IBM as a Supply Chain Engineer which became her full-time role post-graduation. Vera achieved a Bachelor of Science, majored in Electrical Engineering at SUNY New Paltz and graduated in 2022.
