Description: 

The Stepping into Diversity Conference will be held on April 5, 2020 in the Student Union Multi-Purpose Room from 9:00am until 3:00pm. This conference is free of charge, breakfast and lunch will be provided to all those that attend. The students from the Stepping into Diversity Program will lead this conference and facilitate 30-minute workshops around various topics relating to current issues with diversity and inclusion. This conference will provide students with an opportunity to talk about issues of diversity and inclusion. 

Stepping into Diversity is a program that exposes students to different aspects of diversity and inclusion and provides students with important skills and practices for engaging inclusivity on campus and beyond. Our conference provides students a chance to interact with each other and talk about important issues of diversity, inclusion, and social justice. It is intended to be a safe place for students to express themselves and learn from one another’s perspectives and experiences.
