Alexandra (Alex) Winters began her career at Verizon, managing large customer service teams. Here, she became an expert in coaching and development, conflict resolution, and service excellent. Winters joined Nuvance Health in 2017 as the manager of centralized services. In this role Alex used her experience from Verizon to reinvent Nuvance’s centralized teams.
In March of 2020, Winters was promoted to the director of service excellence. In this role, Winters is responsible for supporting patient experience across all seven Nuvance Hospitals and its large Medical Practice. As the director of experience operations, she specializes in coaching clinicians and staff to develop successful healthcare relationships with their patients and partners. Winters graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a bachelor’s degree in organization and political communication. She then went on to complete a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University in corporate and organizational communication with a concentration in leadership. Winters has lived in the Hudson Valley for her entire adult life and is inspired by ensuring her community receives quality care.
