Miriam Ward is an Emmy Award winning segment producer for The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC. In 2019, Ward was selected as a SUNY New Paltz 40 Under Forty recipient. Ward has been with The Rachel Maddow Show for several years, beginning as an intern while she attended SUNY New Paltz. After college, Ward spent a year in the NBCUniversal Page Program. In 2016, Ward was hired as a production assistant with the Maddow team and went on to become an associate producer before being promoted to segment producer three years ago. As a segment producer, Ward produces and writes segments daily for MSNBC’s number one rated program.
Ward graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2015 with a double major in History and Digital Media Production. During her time at New Paltz, Ward was actively involved in the Honor’s Program. In 2015 she was awarded the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence.
