Clarissa Goins’ banking career began the day after her graduation from SUNY New Paltz. Over the past 29 years, she has worked at several banks in the Hudson Valley including: Pawling Savings Bank, Rhinebeck Bank, Riverside Bank and Bank of Millbrook. Goins completed her Master’s in Business Administration and management in 2007 from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y. Goins completed her Doctorate in Business Administration from Walden University in July 2021. Goins is driven by her passion to learn and to help others.
Her passion for helping others is fulfilled by her church affiliation and membership on several community organizations. She is a member of the Poughkeepsie, New York chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Hyde Park, New York. Goins is a former member of the SUNY New Paltz Business Advisory Committee. She resides in Poughkeepsie with her husband and children.
