Senate Garage and CoWork Kingston
Judy Tallerman never intended to be an entrepreneur. “My husband and I bought this 100-year-old building in the center of Uptown Kingston and it literally transformed our lives,” she once said. Today, Senate Garage hosts music, dance, weddings, photo-shoots and business meetings. Meanwhile, CoWork Kingston has over 50 members, comprising small business owners, remote workers and parents who need a place to work while their kids are at school. The building on North Front Street has become a hub of activity for the city – a very exciting place where people come to make connections – and memories. Prior to Kingston, Judy lived in Manhattan for 25 years, working in the digital printing industry. Judy graduated from the University of Maryland and is originally from Syracuse, New York.
