Alethea Schaeffer is a distinguished leader in the manufacturing industry with over 23 years of experience. She currently oversees two thriving businesses: Usheco, Inc., her family’s long-standing enterprise of 63 years located in Kingston, New York, and her newly acquired venture, Form-All Plastics, located in Meriden, Connecticut.
Alethea's academic background is as impressive as her professional journey. She holds a mechanical engineering degree from the prestigious Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where she honed the technical expertise that has driven her career forward.
Under her leadership, both businesses have seen significant growth and innovation. Alethea is known for her strategic vision, commitment to excellence, and her ability to navigate the complexities of the manufacturing sector with agility and foresight.
In addition to her professional achievements, Alethea is dedicated to increasing awareness of manufacturing as a career path in local schools. She serves on the engineering board for SUNY New Paltz and is the co-chair of the steering committee for Hudson Valley Pathways Academy, where she actively works to inspire and educate the next generation of engineers and manufacturers.
