Digital Marketer and Strategist
Alondra Rivera is an experienced digital marketer and strategist, with a demonstrated history working with Fortune 500 companies. Rivera has worked alongside a variety of brands — Purina, Blue Buffalo, Nestle Coffee Partners, Northwestern Mutual, and Red Hat — by developing innovative, cross-channel media plans that connect with audiences.
Her mission since graduating from SUNY New Paltz has been to keep mentorship alive and continue to be a resource to those who need it most. As a first-generation, queer woman Rivera’s passions are rooted in advocacy, fostering community & self-expression, and instilling the reminder that “you belong in any room you are in” (which also happens to be her favorite quote/mantra).
Rivera utilizes her marketing skills to promote her own freelance art business, selling custom digital and hand-painted artwork. She has developed logos for small businesses, flyers for non-profit organizations, and custom paintings. She is a great resource in juggling different interests, career planning (or re-pivoting), and mentorship. As a former T. Howard Foundation recipient and mentor, there’s a lot of knowledge Rivera can share as you’re gearing towards graduation or looking to get an honest view into post-graduate life.
