Multifaceted creative with a writing superpower
Carlin Feck is an aspiring entertainment industry professional and writer from upstate New York. She was the recipient of the 2024 Tomaselli Award for Dramatic Writing and her play “The Guilties” was a semifinalist for SheNYC. As a digital media production major, Feck focused on preproduction and production with the goal of producing or show running professionally in the future. She will be interning with an HBO-affiliated show in 2025. Feck also conducts freelance work as a search engine optimization copywriter.
Feck was a member of the SUNY New Paltz Honor’s Program and wrote her thesis on “B-Roll: A Workplace Comedy Pilot.” She was also a news reader and copy editor on WFNP The Edge Radio station for the 7 p.m. news hour and a head writer for Hawk Studios, the University late night TV show, “What the Hawk?”
