Jennifer Beahan started at Dutchess Community College, earning her associate’s degree in 2017. In 2019 she earned her Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from SUNY New Paltz and in 2020 she earned her Master’s of Science in biomedical engineering from the University of Rochester.
After graduation, she was a government subcontractor evaluating COVID-19 testing technologies for the National Institute of Health's RADx initiative. Currently, she works as an equipment engineer at Onsemi, a semiconductor manufacturer, in East Fishkill, New York. She drives maintenance adherence to quality standards for maintenance teams and site calibration processes.
Beahan is also passionate about life-long learning and helping others. She enjoys teaching adjunct lecturing engineering courses at SUNY New Paltz.
