Jennifer Gilligan '11 is a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D, CCC-A) who developed an evidence-based therapeutic approach rooted in patient-centered care and health literacy.
At Eargo, Jennifer works with a deeply cross-functional team of engineers and researchers to develop, test and bring to-market virtually invisible hearing aids in the Federal Drug & Administration's OTC self-fitting category. Her passion is driving innovation to improve patient outcomes. She leverages technology and data to enhance healthcare and deliver products that tangibly change lives for the better.
Outside of work, Gilligan participates regularly with the ASHA - either co-chairing or sitting on the Health Literacy Topic Committee for the annual convention.
She is also the co-founder of the New Paltz Pride Coalition - a hyperlocal nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families.
Gilligan earned her Bachelor of Arts in communication disorders with a minor in deaf studies from SUNY New Paltz.
