Katelyn Cordero graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and digital media production.
Following her 2017 graduation from SUNY New Paltz, Katelyn has gone on to work in different types of news throughout New York State. She started her career covering international news as a producer for Al-Arabiya then transitioned into local journalism as a general assignment reporter, a breaking news reporter, and an education reporter for the Poughkeepsie Journal. Katelyn currently serves as a reporter for POLITICO covering state education and healthcare policy and politics for POLITICO.
