The Year In Review: 2020

sticking together

"The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted our work and lives at a scale for which normal planning and governance processes are inadequate. We might draw on a piece of Gandalf wisdom to reinforce the importance of kindness and generosity at this time – both for our students and colleagues: ‘It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay … small acts of kindness and love.'”
