SUNY New Paltz and the School of Business regularly accept transfer students from other institutions. The application process is basically the same for undergraduate freshman and transfers. However, transfer students must send official transcripts from each prior college or university attended with their admissions application.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions reviews applications for undergraduate admission into the School of Business. If prior coursework in business was taken, some business courses may be waived toward the business major.
The School of Business meets regularly with area community colleges to review course work and overall business curriculums to ensure students entering from another institution will come in with sufficient skills to succeed in the business program at SUNY New Paltz.
