The following is a list of career and travel resources that may be helpful for international students seeking employment in the United States as well as those looking to work abroad after graduation.
- International Student: offers information on student visas and work options during and after college
- Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE): Helps international students find jobs in the United States. Recent college graduates can use this resource to apply for a J-1 intern visa or the J-1 trainee visa.
- Cultural Vistas: information on work and fellowship opportunities in the United States and other countries
- NAFSA – National Association of International Educators: a paid membership organization with resources and job opportunities for international educators
- The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE): Connects students – especially those trained in STEM fields – with internship experiences in over 80 countries. Interns are paid a cost-of-living allowance
- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services: resources for students and exchange visitors, including Curricular and Optional Practical Training (CPT, OPT) for F-1 students
- U.S. State Department Bureau of Consular Affairs: information on study and exchange visas and how to apply
- Homeland Security Study in the States: information on transferring visas and requesting an M-1 extension of stay

- Immihelp – a private non-profit website with information about visas, insurance, banking, and other resources for immigrants and visitors to the United States. This website contains ads.
- Foreign Born – Run by the National Association of Foreign Born, this is a resource for those new to living in the United States. Includes a section on studying in the United States. This website contains ads.
- Y-Axis – Indian career consultant company and B2C immigration firm. Licensed Recruitment Agents in India and IATA travel agents provide personal one-on-one counseling on migration, study and work visas.
