Jeremy works with students and alumni/a from the following majors:

Business Programs: Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, General Business, International Business, Management, Marketing

Engineering Programs: Computer, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science

As the Career Readiness Advisor for Business and Computer Science & Engineering, Jeremy meets with students in these majors to prepare to apply for job and internship opportunities. Preparation can include reviewing resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, as well as practicing for interviews with prospective employers.  Jeremy also works with students on how to best utilize resources like Handshake, CareerShift, and LinkedIn to develop effective search strategies and identify relevant opportunities. 

In addition to his work at the Career Resource Center, Jeremy is also an adjunct instructor teaching International Marketing in the School of Business. He also has a career outside of SUNY New Paltz as the Head of Marketing and Distribution for Dellwood Insurance, a recently funded start-up in the Property & Casualty insurance industry. 

Jeremy joined the SUNY New Paltz family this summer after recently moving from California. Jeremy is passionate about education and eager to share what he’s learned in 30 years as a marketer in industry (Tech, Entertainment, Insurance) with our future business leaders. Jeremy holds a Masters in Education from San Diego State University and earned his BA in English at Rutgers University.
