If you’ve found involvement to be an integral part of your New Paltz experience so far, you can greatly benefit from the Co-Curricular Transcript program, an excellent way to monitor and track your out-of-classroom activities for future employers.
What types of activities are included on Co-Curricular Transcripts? Campus committee memberships, honors and awards, leadership activities, community service, performances and shows – just to name a few.
The Co-Curricular Transcript program allows you to track the skills and outcomes employers desire, such as “leadership skills,” “time management,” “writing skills,” “morality/ethics,” and more. These skills and outcomes, identified by the Career Resource Center and Center for Student Engagement, will be identified and validated by a campus employee, and you can select the top five skills to be listed on your Co-Curricular Transcript.
The Co-Curricular Transcript can be attached to a job or graduate school application, or as a supplemental document to your resume. Each official printed copy will cost $5.
